Visiting Bedzin
First of all: bedzin. A town of 60000 inhabitants which used to have a considerable Jewish community exterminated by Nazi occupants. The European students and teachers have an opportunity to discover a private synagogue restored partly by their Polosh correspondents. A castle dating back to the 14 th century standing on a hill is the main landmark of Bedzin. The industrial landscape typical of the Silesian region surrounds the town.
